Fee Schedule (Consultation):
 

For your scheduled consultation, we would meet in person to get acquainted with each other, the property, your dreams, time frames and familiarize ourselves with the direction and goal of your design. In order to have the time scheduled and appropriately allocated, we charge a fee of $150 for the initial consultation, an approximate time of 1 hour. Upon the initial meeting, we would have an idea of the design time required to accommodate your request and decide upon a retainer amount to work from for the design time. Factors which create variations in the amount of time required are as follows:

a) Size of project 

b) Compatibility with parties involved in goals/direction of design
c) Detailed goals in the design
d) Extent of detail in diagram and / or plans

There will be a 20% fee charged by House & Designs on any costs for contractors, subs, vendors and / or purchases. Any time involved in design, planning or project management is billed at a rate of $150 per hour for time spent by Gus Gutierrez. Upon receipt of payment for the initial consultation, the person in charge of scheduling will contact you to get the proper information, open your file and schedule the meeting. Once you decide to move forward with our services for design time, an initial retainer fee (which varies per job and will be decided upon your initial consultation) by personal check, wire or money order is due.
